Trip to Berjaya Hill Resort - La Colmar

We went on a work related leisure trip to Berjaya Hill Resort on 08/08/2009. Sighting on the way there. One thing worth mentioning. The whole trip took us 10 hours to reach KL from Singapore and another one more hour to Berjaya Hills. One lesson learnt: Dun attempt the foolish. Travel to Malaysia on a long weekend.
On the hilltop. Finally after 10hours. Something behind me feels sore.
From morning till dusk. Ah.. but the temperature is not as cold as Genting as its only mid-mountain. Even so, we have to travel like 30mins up the mountain. My dad told me this area used to be rubber plantations but now they try to make it a resort. My grandma in the picture.
Inside the suite. This suite can accomdate 11 people very comfortably but somehow I think it can accomdate 30? With extra beds of course. This is a reading corner which overlooks the whole street. Very pretty sight. The living room. This combo always makes me feel abit spooked Staircase leading up to the rooms.Morning View from the SuiteMorning View. Fresh Air Indeed..
We are trying to squeeze into the screen see how many people can fit in.Heading to another sector of the resort. The japanese village. Actually I would like to stay in this part of the hill more but since we were with guest so I thought the food at La Colmar would be a better choice. Getting ready for our hike.
Jams are a killer in KL. On the last day, we decided to walk from our hotel to Pavilion. Seems like walking is always the fastest alternative mode of transport in KL. Also, my colleagues in malaysia always advise us not to anyhow get on a cab in KL as sometimes the snatch thiefs will just open your door if they are not locked or just smash the windows of the cars to grab your stuff. Or, the cab drivers might also drive you to places that you do not know . I rather walk on the big busy streets then. At least I know I onlyneed to guard from one source. I like this place. NO MORE KLCC.
SALE in KL is like.. discount corners? The whole shop only has two small shelves on sale. Although its mark like 50% off or even 70% off but when i convert the currency back it seems like the same price as in Singapore when we do not have any sale going on. What a big SALE!

Food.. One thing worth mentioning after eating two days of (..) . The basket is really nice made of fried cheese. Hmm.. Deep fried cheese basket.
We already tried to console ourselves when we first board the bus to head back to Singapore. This trip was going to be at least 9 hours before we get home. Lucky us though, the trip was only 8 hours. =_= No more long weekend coach trip to Malaysia. Wahahaha BUT I ALWAYS HAVE A SHORT MEMORY!
